Logan Hooley
Ponoka—Didsbury
Logan Hooley
Logan Hooley has been a resident of Bluffton for over half his life, moving here from Cochrane when he was 9. He has previously worked in his community as a deli clerk at the Rimbey Co-op and as a farmhand taking care of livestock. Growing up in rural Alberta, Logan idolized Tommy Douglas and was inspired by the positive impact the NDP had on his family. Reading about the fight for Medicare influenced Logan to study political science, becoming the first person in his family to attend university.
Logan is a passionate advocate for rural communities and believes strongly in protecting workers, the environment, and public health care. Logan believes the time has come for the government to address the crises affecting Canadians. Rural Albertans are being faced with exploitation by corporate cartels, threats to their public health care, cuts to their hard-earned pensions, and a trade war that endangers the livelihoods of millions.
Logan is running to be your MP because he believes that rural Albertans deserve better from their government. Change is needed now more than ever—change that is led by someone who understands the struggles of ordinary Canadians, someone who is compassionate and hardworking, and someone who believes in the power of working together. Logan is honoured to be your NDP candidate for Ponoka—Didsbury and is ready to fight for working class folks.
